Bose designed this system to provide lifelike music reproduction from small, stylish speakers. Their unique features offer advantages not available from conventional speakers. The Acoustimass 3 II speaker system is significantly different from conventional speakers. Aside from just using on a Bose music source, it can be use with other sources that have line-level outputs, such as a preamplifier, receiver, certain TV's and personal portable tape, CD, MP3, Laptop/PC and iPods.
