The SG-9500 Equalizer was introduced by Pioneer in 1976 and remained in production through 1979. Each channel had ten bands of equalization with a boost/cut range of 10 dB. THD was only .05% at maximum output, and featured an impressive 90 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The unit measured 16.5 w x 13.5 dp x 6.0 h and weighed just over 15 pounds. It sold for $300 until 1979 when price was increased to $345.
